Dear Joint-Use Program Users:
Due to long shutdown of JRR-3 after the Earthquake in 11th March, 2011, we are unable to conduct Joint-User-Program for neutron scattering. We are working hard to resume operation of JRR-3. As you know, the safety level of JRR-3 is much higher than commercial atomic reactors because JRR-3 is operated at ambient temperature and pressure, JRR-3 clears the new regulations for commercial reactors. However, since new regulation for research reactors has not been issued, it is not clear when JRR-3 will resume.
By taking account of such situation, we continue a service to support travel expenses for neutron scattering experiments.Note that not only flight ticket but also hotel expense will be reimbursed (as of 2013.5.24).
